Mrs. Rivas possesses over thirteen years experience as a certified clinical social workers who is bilingual and multicultural. She has worked with diverse people, such as LGBTQ+, those dealing with issues related to substance abuse, victims of sexual assault as well as intimate relationship violence. Since the beginning of 2019 she has been working with Mrs. Rivas is serving Erie's clients. Current telehealth mental health services. Dr. Rivas works with women pre- and postpartum as part of the Perinatal Behavioral Team. She is a specialist in trauma informed care, and offers EMDR to adults. She provides individual and group therapy, as well as the medication-assisted treatment program. Special care referrals are also available. Amanda is an active volunteer with Best Friends Animal Society. She helps homeless pets find places to call home. Amanda is a firm believer in the Best Friends slogan Save Them every single day and is dedicated to making Los Angeles a city with no killing.
